As tropical rain falls on a pristine rain forest, it filters through layers of volcanic rock, slowly gathering natural minerals and electrolytes that give FIJI Water its soft, smooth taste. The water collects in a natural artesian aquifer, deep below the Earth's surface, shielded from external elements by confining layers of rock. Natural pressure forces the water towards the surface, where it's bottled at the source, free from human contact until you unscrew the cap. Untouched by man. Earth's finest water.
FIJI Water was founded in 1996. Today, it is available in leading hotels, fine restaurants, retail locations, as well as by direct delivery. As a leading export of the Fiji Islands, FIJI Water is now the number one imported bottled water in the United States and is enjoyed in 60 countries across the globe.
FIJI Water is committed to doing business responsibly and seeking opportunities to make a difference. That means investing in its communities and the environment and focusing its efforts around meaningful issues with like-minded partners to enable positive change.
In 2007, the FIJI Water Foundation is a charitable trust funded and supported by the owners, employees and corporate affiliates of FIJI Water. The FIJI Water Foundation is one of the largest philanthropic organisations in Fiji and has focused its efforts and investments on three priority areas of development: 1. Providing clean water access to rural communities; 2. Building educational facilities and infrastructure that benefit children, teenagers and adults; and 3. Providing access to healthcare services to underprivileged communities. Additionally, the Foundation offers disaster relief during floods and severe weather events that frequently impact the islands.
VaiWai is a natural artesian water and has the distinct advantage by being the only bottled water in Fiji from the lowland tropical rainforest on untouched certified organic land. Sourced from deep below the surface helps the water avoid being contaminated by any human and animal related activity.
Extra care is taken by ensuring that no contaminating activity takes place near the water catchment. Even the bottles and cap are biodegradable in certain conditions to ensure they don't contaminate the environment if they are not recycled.
Vaiwai assumes a large amount of social responsibility by providing over 150 communities in need around Fiji with clean drinking water. Unlike many other companies Vai Wai voluntarily minimises automation of their production line to ensure a higher rate of employment as they currently employ over 120 staff.
Vai Wai has experienced global recognition through significant growth in both the Asian and US market and was picked as the water of choice at the 2016 China Fashion Week. The water's high quality has been recognised in 2015 and 2017 as a superior tasting water by the Institute of Tase & Quality in Brussels, achieving 3 Gold stars twice.
Aqua Pacific water starts its life as precipitation in the mountains and hillsides of the Nadi highlands. Over centuries it filters into the ground until it accumulates in a natural aquifer which are almost completely devoid of bacteria making this water much purer than the water of reservoirs at the earth's surface. Aqua Pacific tap into these aquifers to bottle their high quality artisan mineral water and share it with the world.
Acqua Pacific make sure to operate with sustainable practises by lowering their carbon footprint through increased use of renewable energy and offsetting their emissions. Further Aqua Pacific plan to introduce greener bottles packaging to reduce the amount of plastic usage while also lobbying for increased recycling programs in Fiji.
Aqua Pacific is not only the preferred bottled water for many top Fijian hotels and tourism operators but is also a multiple time receiver of 3 Star Superior Tase Award by the Institute of Tase & Quality in Brussels.
Bula Coffee strive to build the Fijian coffee industry from the ground up. Working with 38 villages from the remote highlands of Fiji, they have trained over 1200 people to be coffee pickers and organically process the coffee cherry to a ready to roast bean in order to extract the best flavour. Once the coffee is processed it travels to Sigatoka by horseback to be packaged and sold around the world.
Bula Coffee follows sustainable business practises both environmentally and economically through a partnership model which enables Fijian communities to reap the rewards of their labour and natural resources. It is the only coffee company which displays not only Fijian Made but also Fijian Grown emblem.
They have developed a wide variety of products such as plunger, beans, biodegradable capsules, chocolate coffee beans and charcoal soap to name a few.
Cacao Fiji began their operations in 2014 when they met with several farmers who were passionate about Cacoa farming but were struggling to find a market for their product. This started Cacao Fiji's mission to lead the revival of the Fijian cocoa industry.
Now working with a network of cocoa farmers Cacao Fiji grow, ferment, and dry their own beans which are then carefully sorted by hand to ensure any damaged or inferior beans are removed. Only then with the highest quality cocoa beans do Cacao Fiji craft their chocolate and nibs which are both 100% vegan and organic.
Cacao Fiji's cocoa beans have been supplied to chocolate crafters all around the world and gained global recognition including at the 2018 New Zealand Chocolate Awards where they won the Gold Medal for the beans-to-bar dark chocolate category.
Fijiana Cacao is a premium artisan chocolate brand from the pristine lands of Fiji. They make pure, high quality, single origin chocolate the old-fashioned way, largely crafted by hand and using just two ingredients - sun dried cacao from the remote rainforest plantations, and raw cane sugar.
Fijiana Cacao starts from the grassroots farmers who grow the beans for the chocolate. These local farmers are educated by Fijiana Cacao in the best practises, including a post fermentation method for producing the highest quality cacao beans. These efforts improve the livelihood of Fijian farming communities and the Fijian cacao industry.
They have a selection of 12 different treats which include exclusive Fijian flavours and ingredients.
